PINEVILLE, LA (KALB) - It's been a busy off-season for the Wildcats and 2nd year Head Coach Justin Charles.

Head Coach Justin Charles spoke to media at LC Football Media Day.

Questions surrounding who would be the Wildcats' quarterback for the 2018 season were answered in Charles' opening statement to the media at LC Football Media Day.

"The young man that stepped up and took the job is Skyler Bonneau. He's who is going to lead our football team on offense."

Bonneau, a transfer from West Texas A&M, has had a whirl-wind fall camp, arriving on campus during fall camp with ground to make up on LC's incumbent quarterbacks.

"Honestly, I didn't get a chance to be here a whole lot this summer. So, I knew I would have to come in and meet my teammates and get used to the culture here and become the best quarterback i can be," said Bonneau. "Its been a whirlwind but I really like my teammates and I think we have a real good chance this year."

The Wildcats open up the 2018 season on the road against Alcorn State next Saturday evening.
