PINEVILLE, La. (KALB) - The Louisiana College Wildcats (LC) played in a doubleheader Saturday afternoon against Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB), splitting the games 1-1.

The lady wildcats shot only 27 percent from the field in their loss to UMHB with a final score of 83-52.

"I was pleased with the shots we were taking," Matt Lebato, the head of LC's women's basketball team said. "Some games you hit them, some games you don't."

In the second game, the men took the court and the LC's starting guard, Kae'ron Baker caught fire scoring 35 points. LC's men's team took home the win with a final score of 92-86.

"My mindset was just to come out and be aggressive on both ends," Baker said. "Just make shots, my teammates found me open a lot of times, so I did my job in knocking shots down."
