But, a lot has changed in seven years.

"None of us were here in 2012 so I don't think we're worried about all of that ruckus that has been going," says freshman Landon Marceaux, who Paul Mainieri has tapped to start tomorrow's game. "I was actually watching the game in 2012 but we're just going to go out and play the team."

The only personnel still around from 2012 are Paul Mainieri, Alan Dunn, and Jared Foster.

For Stony Brook, they're looking to the past in hopes that it can help their future, calling on players from that 2012 team to make the trip down to Baton Rouge.

First pitch for the Tigers opening round game against Stony Brook is scheduled for 6:00 pm on Friday.
