ALEXANDRIA, La (KALB) - The LSUA Generals moe to 7-4, after their 102 to 75 win over Xavier at home.

"I really didn't foresee that shooting that we had," head coach Bob Austin said. "Today's percentages was probably our best in program history," he added.

In the second half, Xavier double teamed Brittany at half court, but it didn't last long, after Kelsey Thaxton knocked down two three's.

"I've been focusing on my 3 balls, and the shots fell today," Kelsey Thaxton said. "I felt good being back in 2020," she added.

"Coming in today's game we knew we would be short a starter," Brittany Hall said. "I really just tried to fill in where I know her points would be," she added.

"We expected them to be more of a challenge," Kendriana Washington said. "We came in ready, knowing that they beat three top 25 teams,' she added.

The Generals will be on the road Thursday, January 9th against Huston-Tillotson.
