NORMAN, OK -- After a successful three years on the offensive line at Oklahoma, Cody Ford is looking to find that same success at the next level. On Tuesday, the Pineville High School-alum posted on Twitter that he will enter the 2019 NFL Draft, foregoing his senior season.
Ford spent his first two seasons as a Sooner providing depth on the offensive line while also making seven starts at left guard. He earned the starting right tackle spot ahead of the 2018 season and it was a position he never relinquished.
Anchoring the offensive line for Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray, Ford's play earned him national recognition and accolades. The Associated Press tabbed him as a third-team All-American.
According to ESPN, Ford is listed as the third best guard available in April's NFL Draft.
