ALEXANDRIA (KALB) -- After a 10-year stint as the head coach of the boys basketball program, Samuel Tinsley and ASH have agreed to mutually part ways. Athletic Director Thomas Bachman has confirmed that with KALB.
This decision coming on the heels of a 2018-19 season in which Tinsley led the Trojans to a 20-13 overall record, but were just 2-8 in district 2-5A.
During his tenure, Tinsley racked up 210 wins with the Trojans and made multiple playoff appearances, including four of the last five season. However, ASH's last postseason victory came in 2015.
According to Bachman, the plan is have a new hire in place as soon as possible.
