Let's dive right in.

Carter is a Man-Child
Ni'kendrick Carter is not someone you wanna have to tackle on the football field. It's hard enough to catch him as it is, and he showed his speed and vision on the touchdown scamper. Untouched, to the house. Many rolls, they host Vidalia next Friday night.

Giants start strong, finish slow
The Jena Giants came out of the gates rolling Friday night, with Joshua Jackson finding his tight end on the roll-out. Jacob Kimbell corrals the pass and refuses to go down, spinning his way into the end-zone. In the end, Union Parish would be too much.

The name is Turner. JT Turner.
JT Turner is a name that followers of the list will find all too familiar. He's found himself on it multiple times in 2018, and this is one of his best entries to date. Turner hauls in the bomb from Logan Graves, and does the dirty work, hand fighting with the defender all the way to the end-zone. The scoring didn't stop, but Montgomery couldn't catch up, falling to Basille.

Tolbert says "you'll float too"
Duwon Tolbert has come on strong at the most clutch time possible: the post-season. He was on the list last week, but this week, his entry is an all-timer. Tolbert practically floats before coming down with the pass in the end-zone, and Leeseville takes down Assumption to advance to the quarter-finals.

Chark's swan song
If you're going to go out, go out with a bang. That's the mindset ASH's Richard Chark against Ruston, racking up 339 yards on 30 carries and 7 touchdowns, the longest being this 80 yarder in the first half. 121 combined points in the game, ASH would fall just short of Ruston.

Curtain Call
That's it for the 2018 Top Five Plays list. It's been a fun season with some amazing plays. Towards the end of the calendar year, we will be back with a top 10 plays of the year list, where we will crown our top play of the 2018 season.
