Training Days: Bolton and ASH
The first stop on day two was at Bolton. Last year, the Bears started off 3-2 but finished the second half of the year at 0-5. Coach Teague says that he doesn't see that happening this go round.
"I think our kids learned a lesson behind that,” Teague said. “It made them work harder to make sure that when we get to the second half of the season, we don't repeat what happened."
After seeing what the Bears had on their team, the journey continued down Jackson Street to stop at ASH. After taking a peek at their practice, there’s one thing that’s for certain.
This team is the real deal.
Coach Bachman says that the separation is in the preparation.
"We want to practice hard and hold them to a high standard,” Bachman said. “They know what's coming and so that's just part of it. You've got to be able to execute when you're tired, especially when it’s still hot. You're not going to do it on Friday nights unless you do it every day at practice."
