A group that has experienced injury is the defensive line, with Jackson Hetzler rehabbing a knee injury. Led by new coach Adam Greenfield, they have a solid front with Dillon Juneau, Hayden Breaux, Maleek Grant, and Micah Latin. Their possible second unit could feature veterans like LaRoderick Lyles and La'Kendrick Robinson.
The linebacking core is led by new coach Will Anglin. They boast Julius Johnson, who was second on the team in tackles last year. They also have Jacob Joffrion and Devyn Allen. This group is the anchor of the defense
