Training Days: Pineville and Tioga

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - The first stop was at Pineville. They finished 4-7 in 2018 but despite that, head coach Darin Moore says that this season will be better because his guys are a year older.

“I think this team has experience with seven or eight starters returning on defense,” Moore said. “We've had a great off-season and those guys have just grown in the program.”

Traveling to ‘The Reservation’, the Indians have one of the most prolific offenses in Central Louisiana. With players Blake Mcgehee and Kenneth Ravare, it'll be hard to slow them down.

"We're a spread offense and many times you fall victim to the process of a finesse football team," Cook said. "We want to get out of that. We don't want to fit into that kind of criteria. We're trying to change the culture of physicality from a mental standpoint and hopefully that will translate on the field.”
