Unselfishness a key for Generals

ALEXANDRIA (KALB) -- In the midst of their longest win streak of the season, the top-ranked LSUA men's basketball team has a Red River Athletic Conference championship in its sights. With seven conference games left, the Generals are in first place with a three game lead over both Wiley and LSUS.

The secret to LSUA's recent success? Sharing the wealth.

The Generals are at the top of the NAIA in both offensive efficiency and assists and that is the direct product of a deep squad that is also unselfish. Managing the rotations is something that has been tricky for head coach Larry Cordaro, who knows that he has upwards of 12 guys that could earn starting minutes.

The Generals hit the road this Friday to take on Texas College, followed by a trip to Paul Quinn on Saturday.
