Structure fire on Francis Street in Natchitoches

NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB) - On August 7, a structure fire started in the 100 block of Francis Street off of University Parkway in Natchitoches, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

At 11 a.m., NPSO began assisting Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District #6 with mutual aid assistance from the Natchitoches City Fire Department with the fire.

Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS was contacted and dispatched to the scene for support.

Francis Street was shutdown to allow fire unit response.
