Millions gather across the U.S. for third ‘No Kings’ rallies protesting Trump administration
Protesters marched in Washington and across the country Saturday
WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Millions gathered across the country Saturday to protest President Donald Trump and his administration in the third edition of the “No Kings” rallies.
In Washington, protesters marched to the National Mall in front of the Lincoln Memorial before ending near the Washington Monument.
Tom Schneider traveled from Connecticut to participate in the protest, saying it was important he made his voice heard in the nation’s capital.
“I just wanted to be part of this. I’ve been here two other times for this protest, if you will. And it was important for me to come down and be here in this beautiful city and with tens of thousands of other people, demonstrating against Trump and demonstrating for democracy and against authoritarianism,” Schneider said.
In total, there were more than 3,000 planned protests Saturday across all 50 states.
The White House denounced the protests.
“The only people who care about these Trump Derangement Therapy Sessions are the reporters who are paid to cover them,” said White House Spokesperson Abigail Jac
