Winnfield Softball stuns Stanley in home finale

WINNFIELD, La. (KALB) - In their regular-season home finale, the Winnfield Lady Tigers picked up one of their biggest wins of 2026, taking down the top team from Class B.

Junior pitcher Karley Caskey threw a complete game shutout with nine strikeouts. In the sixth inning, she hit the go-ahead home run to take the lead for good.

The Lady Tigers close the regular season on Tuesday against Zwolle, and then will start their run in the Division III Non-Select State Tournament.
