CACHE COUNTY, Utah (WAFB) - Louisiana rap superstar, NBA YoungBoy, is at the center of an investigation into a large-scale prescription drug fraud ring operation across Utah.
His initial court appearance inside of a Utah court room will be on Monday, April 29.
The artist, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was arrested on April 16 after investigators discovered what they call an “ongoing criminal enterprise.”
Gaulden has remained inside of a Utah county jail since then, awaiting his pre-trial hearing.
The rapper and several others are accused of using fake identities to illegally acquire promethazine with codeine.
