Charges related to illegal sports gaming dropped against Kayshon Boutte

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Charges have been dropped against former LSU football player Kayshon Boutte, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Boutte was arrested on charges related to illegal online gaming in January 2024 following a lengthy investigation by Louisiana State Police.

According to Schefter, Boutte’s attorney told ESPN that the charges for underage gambling and computer fraud have been dismissed.

Boutte was accused of creating an online betting account under a fictitious name and then placing illegal bets while he was still under the age of 21 and not legally allowed to gamble.
