BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill and Governor Jeff Landry held a news conference about Louisiana’s Ten Commandments law on Monday, August 5.

It began at 10:30 a.m. at the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

You can watch it live on Murrill’s Facebook page or watch it below.

Louisiana has become the first state to require that the Ten Commandments be displayed in every public school classroom.

The law is facing challenges in court that will keep it from going into effect until at least November.
