Third suspect arrested in Cypress Street homicide
ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - Two of the suspects wanted in connection with the Cypress Street homicide turned themselves in, according to the Alexandria Police Department.
APD said a 12-year-old girl died following a shooting in the 2900 block of Cypress Street back on September 14 around 8:45 a.m. In a Rotary meeting on September 24, Alexandria Mayor Jacques Roy identified the girl as Hope Alexandria.

Latraykus May, 32, turned himself in on September 19, around 4:35 p.m. He was charged with one count of second-degree murder, one count of attempted second-degree murder and one count of aggravated criminal damage to property. Bond was set at $1,513,000.
Deroyce May, II, 31, turned himself in on September 19 around 12:20 a.m. He was also charged with one count of second-degree murder, one count of attempted second-degree murder and one count of aggravated criminal damage to property. His bond was set at $1,505,000.

Previously, APD arrested Kayla Wooten, 38, who was charged with one count of second-degree murder and one count of attempted second-degree murder. Her bond was set at $1,520,000.
