System restored at Louisiana OMV following temporary outage

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) announced that its system has been restored following a temporary outage on Monday, Dec. 16.

Around 12:45 p.m., the OMV confirmed all field offices can resume processing transactions.

Residents can click here to reschedule appointments and utilize online services.

During the outage, the OMV was unable to process driver’s license, vehicle registration, and reinstatement transactions.
