Hooters Louisiana locations will not be impacted by bankruptcy, company announces
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Hooters restaurants in Louisiana are not facing bankruptcy, the company announced on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
That announcement comes after a report from financial news company, Bloomberg, was recently published and alleged that Hooters of America, LLC, is likely preparing to file for bankruptcy.
Hooters of Louisiana says it is a separate entity from the national chain.
“We will continue to provide our loyal customers with the hospitality and service they deserve. Thanks to our great customers, employees, and Alumni, we’ve been an industry icon and look forward to serving Louisiana for another 34 years,” said Greg Gibson, Hooters of Louisiana Vice President.
There are eight Hooters restaurants in Louisiana.
Those locations include:
- Hooters Siegen Lane: 6454 Siegen Lane Baton Rouge, LA 70809
- Hooters College Drive: 5120 Corporate Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70806
- Hooters Denham Springs: 254 Range 12 Blvd. Denham Springs, LA 70726
- Hooters Westbank: 2781 Belle Chasse Hwy Gretna, LA 70056
- Hooters Metairie: 4748 Veterans Blvd Metairie, LA 70006
- Hooters Houma: 1619 Martin Luther King Blvd. Houma, LA 70360
- Hooters Slidell: 1776 Gause Blvd. Slidell, LA 70461
- Hooters Boardwalk: 545 Boardwalk Blvd. Bossier City, LA 71111
