Denham Springs resident arrested on 399 counts of child porn

LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A man living in Denham Springs has been arrested and is facing nearly 400 child porn charges.

The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as Eduardo Edenilson Cuatro Pineda, 32, of Denham Springs.

In December 2024, detectives began an investigation into a cyber tip received from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children relating to pornography involving juveniles.

Sheriff Jason Ard says, “During the investigation, the suspect was identified as 32-year-old Eduardo Edenilson Cuatro Pineda (a resident of Denham Springs). Throughout the investigation, Eduardo was found to be in possession of 399 images/videos of child sexual abuse material. He was taken into LPSO custody. During a search warrant of the residence, many other electronic devices were seized along with a stolen firearm.”

The man faces the following charges:

• pornography involving juveniles (399 counts)
• illegal possession of a stolen firearm (1 count)

Pineda currently has an ICE hold.

The investigation is ongoing.
