Man killed in crash involving log truck on Tuesday morning
ZACHARY, La. (WAFB) - One person is dead after a crash involving a passenger van and an 18-wheeler transporting logs, according to the Zachary Police Department.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office identified the man killed as Earnest Matthews, 50.
Police said the crash happened around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, at the intersection of Mt. Pleasant Road and Barnett Road.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office and emergency officials responded to the scene.
