3rd annual Spring Fest returns to Cotile Lake on April 18
BOYCE, La. (KALB) - The Cotile Events Association is hosting its third annual Spring Fest this weekend at the Cotile Lake Campgrounds and Recreation Area.
Spring Fest runs Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Organizers said the festival is designed with families in mind, with activities for all ages.
Attendees can expect more than 80 vendors, nine food trucks, two live bands, and a dedicated Kids’ Zone. Face painting will also be available for an additional cost.

Organizers said the event is centered on kids and the community, and that, for the first time, the Kids’ Zone will be free, thanks to support from local sponsors.
“That’s the main reason why we started it. It’s for the community and the kids,” Ashley Guillot, with the Cotile Events Association, said. “We’re really excited that this year we can bring them the Kids’ Zone for free. They don’t have to pay anything. That is thanks to a bunch of community sponsors. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to do it.”
Admission is $5 per carload, meaning everyone in the vehicle gets in for one price. Organizers are asking attendees to bring cash, as they cannot process card payments.
Spring Fest will be held at 75 Cotile Lake Road in Boyce.
