Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce hosts Leesville mayoral debate

VERNON PARISH, La. (KALB) - On April 28, the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce, alongside the Concerned Citizens Coalition of South Central Louisiana, hosted a Leesville Mayoral Candidate Forum to allow residents to hear from their electoral options for the May 16 election.

Out of the four qualified candidates, three attended:

• Andrey Sandanski
• Louis Hopkins
• LaFonda Stelly

The fourth candidate, James “Jim” Shapkoff, was not in attendance.
